Thirty-three liver specimens were Injected with rubber juice in order to display the segments. There was such a considerable difference in the segment outlines both in the right and in the left lobe that it seemed impossible to construct a scheme to represent them. The course of vessels which, to a great extent, is more regular should not be used to demonstrate segments on the liver surface.
