Abstract
Vanadium-treated animals had less severe carious lesions when fed a caries-producing diet than did animals receiving only the caries-producing diet, and in the treated animals the caries of the enamel had not advanced into the dentin. In addition, no new caries of the enamel arose as long as the vanadium salt was given. Keywords
