Abstract
The EEGs of 210 chronic schizophrenics and 100 normal controls were compared. The schizophrenic EEG suggested instability. It is suggested that the excess of abnormal records (p<.01) in the schizophrenic group indicates a brain disorder possibly generalized or in the temporal regions. No significant clinico-pathological relationships were shown despite a refinement of clinical method. Keywords
