Abstract
Over two-thirds of renal masses noted incidentally on abdominal CT scans performed for nonurological indications are most likely renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The prognosis in these instances is often quite favorable, as early diagnosis offers the best hope of a complete cure. We report the identification of a RCC incidentally at endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) while an earlier CT scan of abdomen was negative. The mass was biopsied resulting in a histological confirmation of RCC and successful surgical resection. Keywords
