15O and 13N production by Van de Graaff accelerator (for medical use)

Abstract

Yields quoted previously (see abstr. A73833 of 1973) have proved to be optimistic and are now expected to be 10-15 mCi of ¹⁵O and 5-6 mCi of ¹³N at the 25-30 mu A capacity of the University of Virginia 5.5 MeV accelerator.
