LISTERIA MENINGITIS

Abstract
Case report of 41-year-old male with meningitis due to Listeria monocytogenes and recovery after treatment with chloramphenicol and streptomycin. The patient was initially thought to have tuberculous meningitis, and so treated. In addition to 23 cases previously reviewed in the literature, another 18 are cited.
