Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 43-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital for the investigation of a mass in the left flank.She was well until two years earlier, when she felt the mass. One year later she consulted a physician, who palpated it; for an unknown reason no further studies were done at that time. Three months before entry a Urinary Tract infection was treated with sulfisoxazole. An intravenous pyelographic examination with nephrotomography disclosed a mass with a suggestion of a thick wall in the lower pole of the left kidney (Fig. 1).
