Abstract
Electron microscopic studies have revealed that cyclic AMP, like ACTH, induces structural differentiation of adult human adrenocortical cells cultured in vitro. These findings support the hypothesis that cyclic AMP can function as an intracellular mediator of the action of ACTH on the human adrenal gland. Keywords
