UNSUSPECTED CORONARY THROMBOSIS IN PATIENTS WITH HEMIPLEGIA—A CLINICAL STUDY

Abstract

Of 66 patients with a cerebrovascular accident, 8 had an accompanying coronary thrombosis. All 8 cases would have been missed were it not for the routine inclusion of detailed heart studies of all patients with hemiplegia. The incidence was definitely greater in the white [male] 40 yrs. of age.
