Abstract
The effect of experimental variables (temperature range, experimental uncertainty, and number of data points) on the uncertainties in intermolceular pair potential parameters derived from second virial coefficient data is described. A knowledge of these uncertainties is required when conclusions regarding combination rules for prediction of the unlike pair potential are made from comparison of “experimental” and predicted unlike pair parameters. Keywords
