Abstract
Strong experimental evidence for the importance of multistep processes has been obtained from the reaction (, ) at 70 MeV. The angular distributions are in good agreement with theoretical predictions and show dramatic influence from inelastic nuclear-Coulomb interference as well as from direct, two-step interference.
