Duality and the Lorentz Group

Abstract

We investigate the suggestion that the internal $\mathrm{SL}\mathrm{}(2,C)\mathrm{}$ invariance of the generalized Virasoro model is in fact related to the same $\mathrm{SL}\mathrm{}(2,C)\mathrm{}$ group which generates Lorentz transformations on the external momenta. We use fields which transform according to the representations of the homogeneous Lorentz group and derive the $n$-point Virasoro model.
