Abstract
A number of pseu-dowild type (PWT) isolates are described in Neurospora. Genetic analyses provide evidence for each of these PWTs being associated with one or more of the following mechanisms: non-disjunction; non-disjunction at 2nd meiosis and at the mitotic division following meiosis; non-disjunction at 1st and 2nd meiosis; non-disjunction followed by somatic recombination; and non-disjunction of more than 1 linkage group. In addition to these mechanisms, the possibility of extra chromosomal replication can not be rejected. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
