Abstract
Time-dependent Hartree-Fock calculations for head-on collisions of HeC, CC), and HeNe have been performed at bombarding energies near the Coulomb barrier. The results are interpreted in terms of their classical quasiperiodic and chaotic behavior. The position of the time-dependent Hartree-Fock collective path with respect to the multidimensional energy surface of the compound nuclear system is shown. Dynamical collective degrees of freedom are identified and classical frequencies associated with each degree of freedom are calculated. For we calculate molecular frequencies of about 0.8 and 1.0 MeV and a characteristic moment of inertia of 15 .
