Abstract
Low energy photoionization in the vicinity of the singly excited autoionization states of neon is considered using a multiconfiguration close coupling method for the wavefunctions. The positions and widths of the first ten 1s22s2p6 nu np resonances, the shape of the lowest resonance, and the shape of the nonresonant partial cross sections up to an electron energy of 2.8 Ryd are calculated and compared with experiment where possible. Keywords
