Abstract
Detailed calculations of the temperature dependence of the heat capacity and magnetic spin susceptibility of small metal particles are presented. The results depend sensitively upon the symmetries or near symmetries of the dynamics, and exhibit the usual thermodynamic behavior only as the particle size becomes sufficiently large. Keywords
