Abstract
Iso-dose measurements were made in a water phantom around intrauterine and vaginal radium irradiators. A short account is given of the apparatus and of the results of the measurements. Eight figures show the dosage distribution in the pelvis, under certain anatomic conditions, in some of the more usual types of treatment of carcinoma of the cervix. In connection with the study of the dosage distribution, an instrument is described which was used for the past year for systematic dosage measurements in the urinary bladder and rectum of patients treated by means of the Stockholm method.
