Abstract
Tuberculosis among the student nurses and medical students at the Univ. of Wisconsin occurred more frequently in the original tuberculin-negative individuals than in the original tuberculin-positive groups. 33 of the 231 tuberculin converters developed tuberculosis as compared to 5 of 174 original tuberculin reactors. BCG vaccination is worthy of trial in any group where the opportunity for tuberculous infection is high. Keywords
