Effects of Glucose Infusion on Dog Myocardial Metabolism

Abstract
Infusion of glucose to the whole animal results in increased myocardial content of phosphocreatine, glycogen and potassium. Metabolic alterations induced by coronary ligation were not modified by glucose infusion.Keywords
