Muonic Heavy-Atom Spectrum and Nuclear Size Effect on Vacuum Polarization

Abstract
Nuclear finite size correction to the vacuum polarization is examined and applied to muonic atom spectrum. An analytic expression for the potential due to this correction is given. It increases the present discrepancy by 5 eV in the transition in lead.
