X-Ray Diffraction Camera Using Polaroid Film

Abstract
A description is given of a camera, holder, and technique which were developed for high speed back‐reflection Laue photography using Polaroid film. The exposure‐development sequence is 1 to 2 min, a time which is negligible compared to the time required for standard wet‐processed x‐ray films. Several cameras have been constructed and now are being used extensively on a routine basis. Typical results are described and possible further improvements are discussed.
