Abstract
Nerve cells of the spinal cord show certain histological changes due to extreme exhaustion from lack of sleep. Nuclear chro-matin is decreased in amount, due to chromatolysis. There is diffuse granulation throughout the cytoplasm. Vacuolation of the cytoplasm is found in a zone midway between the cell wall and nucleus. [See also B.
