Abstract
A high temperature galvanic cell which measures oxygen partial pressure is described. Quantitative measurements in the region 1 to 10−5 atm show a nearly linear relationship between the cell emf and the logarithm of the oxygen pressure at temperatures between 600° and 750°C. The cell can measure oxygen pressures in vacuum systems as well as in flowing gas mixtures. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
