THE EFFECT OF LOWER ABDOMINAL SYMPATHECTOMY ON THE OESTROUS CYCLE

Abstract

The lower abdominal sympathetic trunks were removed from 16 white rats and 5 others were subjected to a similar operation without sympathectomy. There was no noteworthy difference in the post-operative recur- rence of the oestrus cycle in the 2 series.
