HODGKIN'S DISEASE IN CHILDREN

Abstract
Seventy-five children with Hodgkin's disease treated mainly by irradiation are reviewed. The 5 year survival was 33 per cent, dropping to 24 per cent at 10 years. We have no evidence that the mode of onset, natural history or response to treatment differs materially from that in the larger adult group, except that in Stage III the disease may sometimes run a more fulminating course in the child.
