Abstract
A survey of the spectral, electrochemical, and chemical properties of organic and inorganic 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) radical derivatives leads to the conclusion that these species form a common family whose properties are largely determined by those of bpy, the one-electron reduction product of bpy. Keywords
