Thermochemistry of transition metal complexes. Part V. M(pyridine)2X2 and M(quinoline)2X2 complexes (M = Ca, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, or Cd; X = Cl, Br, or I)

Abstract

The heats of thermal decomposition of the compounds listed in the title, together with the complexes Cr(pyridine)₄l₂, Cr(pyridine)₂(H₂O)₂Br₂, and Cd(aniline)₂Cl₂ have been measured by use of a differential scanning calorimeter. Comment is made on the variation of these heats of reaction.
