Abstract
The first 6 cases of ureteric stones removal under visual control with the aid of a rigid ureteroscope, was reported. In 5 of the 6 cases, the stone was removed endoscopically. The only failure was a case in which the stone was too large for the Dormia basket. The only source of difficult was passing the ureteric meatus. A very small meatotomy may be required. Whether this may result in reflux was not determined.
