Abstract
There is no definite anatomical barrier in the heifer to prevent fertilization following intraperitoneal deposition of semen. Four heifers were inseminated intra-peritoneally a total of 6 times in the paralumbar fossa with 1 pregnancy resulting. This method is offered as a means of studying the physiological processes leading to fertilization. Keywords
