Abstract
P. T. Magee The yeast Candida albicans can exist in several morphological forms. Now a report by Braun and Johnson in this week9s issue of Science and two recent papers in Microbiology and EMBO Journal have elucidated the molecular control of one morphological variant of this organism called the pseudohyphal growth form. In his Perspective, Magee synthesizes a model of this growth regulatory system.
