Abstract
This paper presents an approach to analyse mutual coupling effects in reflectarrays. It consists in simulating each radiating cell with its actual neighbouring cells, either identical or not. The field disturbance caused by one or more neighbours is evaluated in different cases depending on the array lattice or the element dimensions. Techniques to reduce the element sensitivity are explored. These techniques have also been assessed experimentally by a comparison between different reflectarrays measurements. Keywords
