Abstract
Renal function as measured by the Addis "urea ratio" has been compared with the BMR in patients with hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. There is a direct relation between the two. This relationship is more general when the BMR is above than when it is below normal. Possible reasons for this are discussed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
