Preliminary Note on the Mode of Union of the Galacturonic Residues in Pectic Acid

Abstract

Preliminary findings gave evidence that the type of muscular dystrophy which develops in rabbits confined to the Goettsch and Pappenheimer basal diet No. 13 can be promptly cured by the adm. of small doses of vit. E concentrate or by the adm. of natural a tocopherol.
