Abstract
Uterine hypertrophy was produced in the pseudopregnant mouse when vit. E was administered. The mechanical stimulation of the cervix uteri over a long period of time also resulted in uterine hypertrophy. Adm. of vit. E to normal mice did not result in uterine hypertrophy. The histology of the hypertrophied uterus showed an increase in the connective tissue and in the musculature. Glands and blood vessels were very small and leucocytes were absent. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
