Abstract
Peritoneal masses arising from different types of primary carcinoma were studied ultrasonographically in 34 patients as well as with computed tomography in 3 patients. In shape, the masses were nodular, mantle- or sheetlike, or irregular. The peritoneal line was usually obliterated unless the mass was very small. When a considerable amount of ascites was present, peritoneal implants as small as 2-3 mm could be delineated. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
