Precise measurement of theΞ−magnetic moment

Abstract

With 4.36×${10}^6$ events, spin precession in a magnetic field has been used to measure the magnetic moment of the ${\mathrm{\Xi }}^{\mathrm{-}}$ hyperon as -0.6505±0.0025 nuclear magnetons.
