Abstract
We have designed, fabricated and tested 77 GHz dual-polarized microstrip antennas suspended on thin dielectric membranes for automotive applications. The measurements indicate a comfortable 2 GHz bandwidth, with a -18 dB isolation between the orthogonal ports. The performance of the antenna was limited by the feed-line radiation interference and future designs will correct this problem. Keywords
