Penile Block for Postoperative Pain Relief in Penile Surgery

Abstract

The use of bupivacaine penile blocks for postoperative relief of pain in penile surgery is easy, effective and safe, and it provides total relief of pain for the first 6 h postoperatively. It is superior to analgesics in providing for quick recovery and relief of pain. This procedure is especially helpful in pediatric patients.
