Suppression of Chemically Induced Pulmonary Tumors by Treatment of Strain A Mice With Murine Sarcoma Virus2

Abstract

Treating strain A/He mice with the Moloney strain of murine sarcoma virus reduced the incidence of 3-methylcholanthrene- and urethan-induced pulmonary adenomas. Possible mechanisms of the viral inhibitory effect are discussed.
