Abstract
The optimum pH is 6; the figure given by previous workers (7) was probably due to contamination with amylase from the blood. The effect of substrate concentration follows the theory of Michaelis. The effect of NaCl is the same as that on other animal amylases. The effect of adrenaline is due to its content of NaCl. The problem of glycogenolysis is discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
