Abstract
Observations are described on the behaviour of foragers after returning to their nest, on communication dances and other forms of communication, Nasonov gland exposure at the nest and scent marking of a source of forage, temperature regulation, colony defence, attractiveness of a queen and of queen pheromones to surrounding workers, queen cell production and queen introduction, and orientation to a nest site and absconding.Keywords
