Abstract
The glycogen in corresponding muscles of legs of chloroformed rabbits or decapitated cats was approximately in equal percentages. The two hind-limbs of rats which had been killed by body tran- section contained equal percentages of glycogen. The glycogen content of leg muscles of rats did not diminish markedly during the 1st hr. after death when kept at room temp. Lactic acid increased in all muscles within 1 hr.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
