A Computerized Data-Handling System for the Children's Sleepwear Standard DOC FF 3-71

Abstract
A computer program was written in Fortran IV which organizes all information generated by garment prototype testing in DOC FF 3-71, the flammability standard for children's sleepwear. The raw data is plotted in a frequency distribution and also listed. The required calculations are performed, the averages recorded, and test results compared against specific criteria in the standard. A Pass, Fail, or Retest decision is indicated.
