Abstract
The wear resistance of six filled and three unfilled resins was evaluated with the use of a commercial abrasion tester. The results showed significantly greater wear (P < 0.05) of the filled resins compared with the unfilled resins. Based on these observations, a mechanism for explaining the wear behavior of the filled resins has been proposed. Keywords
