NMR of Some Nitroxide Radicals: 13C Coupling Constants

Abstract
We have investigated the 13C NMR spectra of a series of nitroxide radicals to determine the sign and magnitude of the electron‐carbon coupling constants. Couplings from the carbons have been observed. These couplings are discussed in terms of the relative geometry of the various radicals.
