Complications Associated with Ureteroscopy

Abstract

Summary— A review of 125 ureteroscopies in 111 patients is reported. Eight per cent suffered major complications of perforation or stricture formation and 3% required ureteric reimplantation. Clinical follow‐up and imaging studies performed more than a year after ureteroscopy produced no evidence that late complications arise.
