Abstract
Thin sections of wild material of Chrysochromulina megacylindra Leadbeater are described and illustrated with respect to scale arrangement and development, haptonema micro-anatomy, pyrenoid substructure and the demonstration of phagotrophic feeding. These findings are discussed in a preliminary way.Keywords
