Abstract
Porous metallic and ceramic dental implants were designed, fabricated, and implanted into fresh and healed alveolar sites of extracted mandibular premolar teeth in miniature swine. Bone ingrowth securely anchored the implants; intraoral devices were later attached to study the effects of stress on implant stability. Keywords
