Abstract
There is need for further study of the influence of dose fractionation on oncogenic transformation, and generalizations cannot be made on the basis of available in vitro or in vivo data. In the present study no enhancement in the transformation frequency could be demonstrated after split dose irradiation in the dose range of 150-800 rads in mouse embryo cells. Transformation was significantly reduced following total doses of 300 and 800 rads whenthe dose was split in 2 fractions 5 h apart.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
