Abstract
Armour bovine pituitary growth hormone was admd. to one patient with dwarfism, osseous retardation, and hypoglycemia and to one patient with treated cretinism in doses up to 100 mg. daily. Neither patient showed increased N retention or a rise in the level of serum inorganic phosphate. Both patients developed fever and malaise. There was a fall in the level of serum cholesterol and a slight decrease in the renal excretion of phosphate.
